Kim Hoyos (she/her) is a queer Latina freelance creative, specializing in video production, social content, and digital strategy based in Los Angeles. She’s also a small business owner and the founder of "The Light Leaks," an online community for women and nonbinary filmmakers. She’s a multifaceted content creator passionate about uplifting marginalized communities on screen and also behind the camera.

Whether it’s a short form video about chisme with coworkers or sitting across from Bad Bunny or the cast of Barbie for a conversation or even a national campaign encouraging young people to register to vote at prom - Kim loves to create videos and story-driven marketing that resonates with people authentically.

As a proud daughter of Colombian immigrants, she’s inspired by her family’s roots and how she can celebrate it with others. Kim is a 2019 Shorty Award winner and is currently part of Meta and Instagram’s Dale Tu, an initiative for Latino content creators.
